Halloway · the fortieth day after the wall

Tidal Archive

Twice a day the sea comes up through the streets, and every tide it climbs a little higher. You are the last archivist of the Halloway Civic Archive. You have a skiff, a borrowed diving lamp, and a Tidebook with room for only twelve pages. In three days the relief boat sails with whatever you've saved.

How to play

Explore by the tide. Low places are only open at low water, and some rooms can only be reached by diving. Actions and journeys take hours. Find documents, read them, and choose which ones to put in the Tidebook. It holds twelve pages. What you save decides how the city is remembered.
